nectar
This project was my MFA thesis and explores how Aristotle’s three modes of persuasion (ethos, pathos, and logos) can be applied to contemporary advertising. Through research and case study analysis, it looks at how credibility, emotion, and logic are communicated not just through content, but through motion, pacing, and visual structure.
The research led to a series of three animated ads for a self-created sparkling wine brand rooted in Greek mythology. Each ad focuses on one mode of persuasion and uses a different visual and narrative approach.

SOFTWARE USED: Cinema 4d, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, DUIK Angela
DATE: 2025
AD 1: "Mythological Marvels"
Mythological Marvels centers on ethos, using figures like Poseidon, Medusa, and Hades as spokespersons. The animation is simple and direct, letting the characters and their presence carry the message.
AD 2: "Nectar Origins"
Nectar Origins focuses on logos, presenting the drink’s fictional creation through an infographic style. The visuals break the process into clear steps, using motion to guide the viewer through the information.
AD 3: "Siren Song"
Siren Song explores pathos through narrative, where pacing, sound, and animation work together to shape an emotional experience.
