Big brother rebrand
This branding package for the iconic CBS show, Big Brother, pays homage to the retro aesthetic of film and video games from the 90's/early 00's. I wanted to pull from actual references of retro advertising and give it a modern flare while also staying within the Big Brother branding. To support this idea, I incorporated old TV systems, video game controllers, pixelation and glitch effects.
This package includes a title sequence, lower thirds, a mortise, segment cards and an archival treatment.
ROLE: Responsible for all aspects

My original storyboards for the title sequence. All hand drawn in Photoshop.

Style direction #1 leaned into the pixel aesthetic as well as had heavy influence from 80's graphics.
Style direction #2 took the influence from the 80's, also seen in the first direction, and went even heavier.

Style direction #3 took inspiration from the 90's with vibrant color blocking and white outlining.
Style direction #4 took elements from previous iterations and combined them to create a vibrant/graphic style with use of heavy black elements. This was the catalyst for the final chosen style direction.
